Walking with poles is becoming increasingly popular as both urban and trail walkers are discovering their many positive benefits.  Used correctly, poles can expand your horizons, minimize your waistline,
convert energy into an upper body/core workout and improve performance and stability on all terrain.

When: Saturday, March 13/10

Time: 12:30 – 3:00 p.m.

Where: Shu’s Idaho Running Company, 1758 W. State Street, Boise
83702  www.idahorunningcompany.com  Meet outside in front of store.

What: This clinic is for able-bodied walkers who can walk at a moderate pace for the duration of clinic. There will be several short
breaks for instruction, coaching and rehydration. We will walk up to 4-5 miles on sidewalks, pavement and dirt/grass during clinic on both flat and uneven terrain including up and downhill.

Registration: Pre-Registration and completion of liability waiver and health questionnaire is required.

Registration closes Friday, March 12 @ 6:00 pm.
Attendance is confirmed via a reply email.

Details: Instructor provides poles for Clinic; min 3, max 10 participants.

You: Wear walkable footwear for urban and trail walking, loose comfortable clothing, portable water for hydration and bring emergency contact information.

Cost: $45 including use of poles and handouts.
